So Misguided

Congratulations to the BC publishers and authors who are shortlisted for the 2008 BC Book Prizes.

The BC Book Prizes website is what I’ve been working on for the last couple of months so I’m really pleased to see it live and corresponding to the announcement of the finalists.

And way to go David Chariandy of Soucouyant, Meg Tilly of Porcupine. and Douglas & McIntyre for Fred Herzog: Vancouver Photographs. These were 3 BC books that really stood out for me this year.

Thanks Monique!  Needless to say, I’m VERY happy.  And good job on the BC Book website too.  It looks great.

I also love the picture you have on your site of the fancy table and the menu and china and fine dining silverware and glasses.  I had no idea they went so uptown.  Looking at the photo gave me a little flutter of excitement in my belly.
